Darth Maul in the Sith temple

My take on Darth Maul, one of the most visually striking characters in the Star Wars saga.

This piece started from a rough sketch — just a glimpse of his red face emerging from the darkness of his hooded cloak. At first, I wanted him to resemble a bat with Maul’s face, but it looked too close to Batman… and I can never resist adding more detail. So the static figure began to move, igniting his lightsaber in the shadows of a Sith temple.

I’ve always loved Maul, both in The Phantom Menace and throughout his powerful arc in Clone Wars. Hope you enjoy it.
